HP Confirms The Slate Tablet Is Stll Kicking

The HP slate rumors have been floating around for months and months. No one was really sure if the project is still happening, Especially after Microsoft announced the termination of its Courier Tablet project. Today HP confirmed the project is still kicking.

The outfit’s not sharing much, but a spokesperson from its Personal Systems group did tell Engadget.com that they’re “in customer evaluations now and will make a determination soon on the next steps.” It all seems very vague and mysterious at this point, but the evidence is surely mounting that we’ll be seeing an HP tablet xooner than later.
