Copia has announced their “Ocean” line of eReaders a long time ago but we heard nothing new since. Now, They’re releasing a short video showing how social and reading can go together. It’s been a hard task to complete and many different companies tried to turn the reading experience into a social form of entertainment rather than the traditional way of reading. With all the technological changes humanity experienced reading remains one of the only form of entertainment that invloves one mind and one book. I personally wish it will stay that way but I have no doubt progress will change this as well.

While The Copia eReaders appear to have terrific specs, they continue to dither about giving information on release dates and prices. This is not restricted to The Copia either, none of the new larger format eReader manufacturers will even begin to discuss a release date or anything but a WAG about the price. I’ve narrowed my search for a replacement down to 5 of the newer eReaders, and at this point, it’s going to be the first one to the gate with the price and features that I want to do business with.
